Tourist trips use the online eVisa. Business trips need a visa through the Laos embassy, so you send us your passport and we hand-carry it. Not sure? Call (800) 672-1015.
Online eVisa: Your price includes the government’s fee and our service. The government fee is paid when we submit your application and isn’t refundable once submitted, whatever the outcome. If we don’t review your application and submit it as promised, our service fee comes back in full. Check your approval as soon as it arrives, and tell us straight away about any mistake in your name, passport number or dates. Through the embassy: Your visa price includes the Lao embassy fee, courier delivery to the consulate and our service fee; only FedEx shipping is added. The consular fee belongs to the consulate: if your application is never submitted, it comes back to you, but once it’s submitted the consulate keeps it, whatever the outcome. If we don’t check your documents, submit on the consulate’s first business day after they reach us, or ship your passport and visa back the day we collect them, our service fee comes back in full. Check your visa as soon as it arrives: when the consulate made an error, the correction is free; if the error came from the application, a new fee may apply. Mistakes must be reported before you leave the U.S. We ship by FedEx with tracking to street addresses only (FedEx can’t deliver to P.O. boxes), or you can drop off and pick up at our Redmond office, no appointment needed. Our Promise and Refund Policy →
