Passport Fees

All passport fees are set by the U.S. Department of State. All payments to the U.S. Department of State must be in the form of check or money order.  Each application submitted must have its own check or money order. Temporary or counter checks are not acceptable forms of payment to the U.S. Department of State.

U.S. Passport Book and U.S. Passport card fees for Adults and Minors:

Adults (age 16 and over)
Passport Book only – $190.00 payable to U.S. Department of State
Passport Book and Passport Card – $220.00 payable to U.S. Department of State

Minors (under age 16)
Passport Book only – $160.00 payable to U.S. Department of State
Passport Book and Passport Card – $175.00 payable to U.S. Department of State

Important

Checks or money orders must be:

• Payable to  U.S. Department of State
• Dated
• Show exact numerical amount in dollars and cents (example – $190.00)
• Write exact amount in dollars and cents (example – One hundred ninety dollars 00/100)
• Show Last Name and Date of Birth of applicant on the Memo Line
