For now, San Antonio travelers on a tight deadline face a drive to the Houston Passport Agency, about 190 miles off, or to Dallas, around 250. A San Antonio Passport Agency is planned, which will put an agency in town once it opens. Agency appointments go only to people flying within two weeks or needing a visa within four.
