U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourist or business travel to this country for stays up to 90 days. A valid U.S. Passport is required. Proof of medical insurance valid in Bulgaria may be requested by immigration officials upon entry into the country. For travel with any other purpose, or if you hold an Official or Diplomatic passport, please contact the Bulgaria Embassy directly.
